WEAPONS TIPS

---Get comfortable with the entire arsenal available. Don't underestimate the power of weapons because you simply don't like them or you keep dying with it.
---Know the appropriate ranges for each weapon and carry weapons that will compliment each other. Such as, don't carry a shotgun and a sword or gravity hammer. Two extremely short range weapons make you an easy target for someone who just backpedals while firing into your face. Compliment the shotgun with a mid-range to long range weapon like a battle rifle or carbine.
---You don't always have to dual wield. Some of those single handed weapons make for deadly weapons when even single wielded. Plasma pistols, SMGs, plasma rifles, and maulers are all weapons that are deadly when used it short range situations. Fire and melee for a quick kill, even on a charging enemy.
---Well placed grenades make some weapons even deadlier. The battle rifle, pistol, and carbine all can kill with a single head shot to a wounded enemy. Throw a well-placed grenade before battle to make quick work of an enemy or two.
---Same goes for melees. Melee, jump back and fire a round into the dome of your opponent. All of a sudden, some of your mid-to-long range weapons become deadly close range weapons.
---When firing the rocket launcher, aim for the feet/ground or a nearby wall. Firing directly at opponents can cause you to miss entirely, or blow yourself up. Sometimes, shooting the ground just behind them is enough to kill them, and keep yourself alive.
---When sniping, be patient. Don't rush your shots. Also, be comfortable with moving and aiming at the same time. Being a still sniper makes you an easy target for other snipers, or a grenade - head shot combination.
